How Can I Get a Song Added to the Request List?

The way the request list works, you can request any song that we currently have available on our streaming server. But, like any station, we are willing to cater to the public and if you have a song that you would like to hear on Keiichi.net EX², then feel free to click on the link for the Playlist Addition Request below.

  • Playlist Addition Request

I just requested a song and it hasn't played yet! Why!?

Well, it's actually fairly simple. According to the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act), you may not include in your Broadcast Programming specific sound recordings within 1 hour of a request by a listener or at a time specifically designated by the listener. Therefore, all requests are normally delayed by at least one hour, though we try and play all requests as quickly as possible for your listening enjoyment.

How come my request has been sitting in the request queue for X hours?!?

This can happen for one of many reasons. The first thing that can happen is if you requested a song that has been played recently, it will not be added to the main play queue for AT LEAST three hours since it last played. Also, if the series or artist has been played within the last hour, it also will continue to veg out in the queue. Thus you can end up with delays sometimes of over four hours if you request a song that was just played, and then right before it's ready to come out, a song by the same artist/series plays.

Furthermore, request do not play during many of our shows, including Anime Retro Classics, The JRHorse Side Project, Live From the Cr/\dle, and many others. If you request a song during those shows, it will be held and played as promptly as possible AFTER the show has completed. Unfortunately, this is necessary so that we can maintain the integrity of the content that each of these shows provides [Eg, Ayu should NOT be playing during Anime Retro Classics, ect].

Will You Send Me XXX Song to Me?!?

Simply put, we do not distribute any music files. We encorage you to check retailers such as cdjapan.co.jp or animenation.com to purchase the music that we play.

Where can I find some of the remixes you play?

Some of the remixes from DJ Jinnai / DJ LKJ as well as Kumix are available on their respective websites. You can find those below.

  • DJ Jinnai - http://www.DJJinnai.com
  • Kumix - http://kumix.cubic-k.net

    IRC Questions

I can't get into the chat room using the java client, why?!
The java client is quite temperamental, I recommend using the mIRC client which has a help file inside it to get you set up to use the channel in a matter of seconds! The file can be found at http://www.bukake.us/kIRC.exe
Why do I not have half of these settings?!
All questions apart from the first will assume you're not using the java client, if you are be sure to download this file before you proceed further.
How do I change my name in IRC?
Type /nick <yourname> For example: /nick Foobar would set your name to Foobar.
How do I register my nick?
      Type /ns register <password> <email address> For example: /ns register foobar foo@bar
Someone has stolen and registered my nick, what can I do?!
Well, if your nick has already been taken over then I suggest adding something on the end of it so people will still recognize you, such as a - or _. After you've done this type /ns register For example: /ns register foobar foo@bar
How do I send messages to people?
Type /query <person's nick> For example: /query Foobar Hey foobar!
It won't let me send messages to people!
If you're getting "Your own modes prohibit you from sending that type of message." in your status window, then type /uMode -M Although if you're getting "The user does not wish to receive that type of message." in your status window, then the person that you're trying to send the message to will have to type /uMode -M to allow incoming messages.
I have my own IRC client, how do I get to the channel?
The network to connect to is: irc.webchat.org and the channel is: #keiichinetradio The command for this would be /server -m irc.webchat.org -j #keiichinetradio
What do the @, + and - signs mean?!
They're just user modes in IRC. The staff members can be found by the @ sign (operator/moderator)I've set the bots as - (userop) and people who dedicate servers and help the station out in such ways to have + (voiceop).
    How do people do actions?
To do actions, type /me <action> For example, if your nick was foobar: /me thwaps barfoo on the head. would show as * foobar thwaps barfoo on the head.
None of the above answers answer my problem!
If this is the case email Danny at danny@bukake.us with your problem, and he will get back to you as soon as he can! (As soon as he checks his emails)
